Warmth

By my definition, warmth is that feeling you get when someone smiles in your direction or shows you compassion. It's that certain feeling of being loved that makes you go all "warm 'n' fuzzy" inside and personally for me, warmth symbolizes what logic cannot explain; it goes beyond the senses. Yes, to feel warmth the senses must be involved one way or another, but that doesn't explain that inkling in the back of your head that tells you that you are loved. It's like looking at a photo from old memories, as you look back you either smile, laugh or cry, but even after all that reminiscing, you feel loved--that's what warmth is. It's simple gestures that individuals react to in everyday life; togetherness, compassion, acknowledgment, winks, laughter, and so much more.

This may be controversial because different audiences cause different reactions to understanding the various definitions that a word like warmth has. Some people might solely think that warmth is only limited to the sensory instead of the feeling of being loved. They could possibly just think that warmth is the feeling you get when you share or absorb heat. Either way, warmth can be seen from those two aspects, it's an universal word that can clearly pertain to all audiences. Whether warmth is mentioned in song, photos, memories or articles, warmth is always circling around us; it makes us human.

This is a really good word because warmth has so much demension to it. It has the real meaning of being warm, but it also has that feeling of peace and serinity you get when you remember something happy or when something touches your soul

I agree that warmth can mean all the different things you said but have you considered the different views of warmth by different sexes. We as women view warmth as something positive and it makes us happy, but what if to men it is completely different. Of course they can feel warmth physically, but what if they don't feel it emotionally like us. For example men biologically have testosterone embedded in their DNA, when they feel warmth is it something that is anger related. They could have gotten really mad and all the blood rushing to their face would be considered warm. Or have you considered when some is embarrassed they get red and feel warmth in their face. I don't know if that helped haha

As one of your closest friends I must agree that the warmth that we share when we lie next to each other is immense. In all seriousness though, I really like the fact that you chose this word because it truly is a word that is hard to define. The obvious kind of warmth is completely different than the kind of warmth you chose to define and in my opinion, your word has much more of a significance. Good luck - come see me down the help if you need help editing or something.

With Warmth,
Tommy

I like the way you define warmth and I agree with you on that definition. As a suggestion, you can try doing some scientific research on the effect that "feeling loved" and things such as memories can have on your brain and why this can create a warm feeling. I'm not sure if there is such information available, but you might try it just to provide some more proof on your definition of warmth.
