Obamanation

I think that Obama's definitions aren't that contrasting with the pictures. Because Obama doesn't particularly address topics such as homeland security or gay conservatives, the picture and the speech are hard to compare. While Obama talks about the pride one is to have in their country, the picture about "Unlce Sam" trying to keep things quiet more riducules the government, especially the department of homeland security. Though this isn't directly against Obama's speech because he says that patriotism isn't necessarily the same as liking government leaders, in a way the picture isn't patriotic because the artist seems to lack a sense of pride in their nation. My idea of patriotism is similar to Obama's - to have pride in the country in which you live despite who the government leaders may be.
