My First Time

I must say I enjoyed some aspects more than others when writing this paper. I really liked the fact that we were able to chose our own topics which made the paper a whole lot easier to write. I also enjoyed the editing process - taking my original work and having others look at it and give suggestions to make it better because there is always room for improvement. I feel like our papers would have been better content wise if we had taken more time in class to research arguments on our topic and find an article we either really agreed or disagreed with. Although it may sound like a paradox after talking about how much I enjoyed having my writing critiqued, I didn't really like writing a rhetorical analysis simply because I didn't really understand why critiquing someone else's argument is going to help me as a person. What kind of essay is next?
