Welcome!
This blog will serve as the discussion forum for our composition course. The theme of the course is Language, Identity and Culture, so a broad range of ideas and writing can be shared in this space. I encourage everyone to post often—be it text, a link or a picture relevant to what we are studying in class—to begin discussions as well as give feedback to other students.

I feel that different languages, identities and cultures are very special and important in this country because our whole country is based on diversity. I think its wonderful that everyone can express themselves through their identity, culture and language. Its good that we all keep our culutre because that way we can teach them to other people and so we all can be more knowledgeable and more understanding when someone talks a certain way or dress a certain way. With our indentity, culture and language we are sending an argument not on purpose but to show we are who we are.
I agree with Christina. I feel that we are blessed to live in a country with such understanding of diversity. There is culture all around us and we should appreciate all that it has to offer us.
